Protect the Boss and OMG IT IS AMAZING!! I can’t believe I waited so long to watch it! It’s hilarious (I’m laughing like every 10 minutes)! I like how the main girl (No Eun Seol) isn’t weak, and omg Cha Ji Heon is the best! XD I love how he acts like a two year old CX <3 And don’t get me started with Jaejoong in the drama! I love him so much so whenever he shows up I can’t help but squeel! And the amusement park scene! SO JEALOUS! Can I ride the boat rollercoaster with Jaejoong too? *O* I won’t even mind if it’s scary XP
Truly, it is strange. There is not one proper villain who plots unsavory things in the background, and there is not one thick conflict that makes the palms sweat. But you can’t help but keep watching. Protect the Boss, to say it in one sentence, is a drama that is like the “rock from space” that has become stuck in the amygdaloid nucleus of the viewer’s brain.
I thought this drama sounded really odd from the get-go because of the premise of the story, but I’m happy to say that I’ve totally been proven wrong. All the four leads have great chemistry with each other and the most important thing is: Yes, Jae-joong can act. He’s also quite funny. JaeJoong really knows how to choose his stuff. .and choosing this drama as his acting debut in SK is a wise decision despite him being not the male lead (tho’ at times i do feel he is!)
I have to give it up to Ji Sung and Kang Hee… no words to describe how much I love their interactions… just wow. They both are unorthodox in their way of being so they match each other so well! I love it!!
Also about JJ and Ji Sung’s chemistry, it’s lol-tastic! They are such rivals that they convert into childish behavior just to one up the other. And JJ in a suit is so amazing, those looks, that voice… I just about fangirl spazz every time he appears on screen >_<. He's playing his part so well, I'm pleased!!

Marou: “What kind of elephant paints?
Sou: “Ele-Picasso” ?
For those who don’t know where that quote came from, It’s from the Japanese detective drama called Tokyo Dogs. Normally, I’m not one for detective dramas but this drama was a great one. Not only was it filled with an all star cast such as Oguri Shun and Mizushima Hiro, but it actually had a great story line. I don’t want to spoil it for those of you who haven’t seen it and want to see it, but let me just tell you that it involves Oguri Shun blasting his gun every chance he gets (even if he busts a cap in someone’s shoulders for something trivial).
What I also really liked about the drama was that while it was dramatic, there were many comedic scenes, like the one demonstrated in the quote, where Oguri Shun’s character (Sou) and Mizushima Hiro’s character (Marou) fight about random things ( like adult Disney world) while on the job and gun shots are flying in the air. Normally scenes like that would take away from the drama, but these scenes rather added to the overall feel of the drama, and I don’t think the drama would have flowed without them.
First time I heard of Tokyo DOGS, I was wondering “You mean the drama is about dogs?!”. I still don’t get what the dogs part mean. Did it mean police? No idea. But I watched it because there’s Oguri Shun and Mizushima Hiro. Of course. Two hot guys. >///<
I just want to say that this series ROCKS! I was soo happy to see Hiro and Shun in another drama. definitely worth the watch! =D Shun is so cool as always! He's a awesome actor in he fits the role perfectly! =D even though he himself is different to his role! =D Hiro is gettin' better w/ his acting, he was pretty cute in sum scenes... the female lead is pretty good too. Overall definitely recommend it! =D

Takakura So (Oguri) witnessed his father's murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo (Mizushima), a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura's, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they've been given. With the appearance of a woman who apparently lost all her memories yet seemed to be greatly linked to the murderer of Takakura's father, the story of the worst, yet the best, partnership between the New York elite and the Japanese detective begins...
